I have dealt with a company called bank smart for ppi since 2012 they got £14.50 in ppi claim I needed to pay them £4.50 for there services, which I did not pay straight away, so they added money on top for not paying straight away then they had debt collectors contact me I paid them 50 pounds over the phone this is what I agreed to every month, I got my daughter to send an email to bank smart asking them to cancel everything with them they sent an email back stating that they charged me 480 for cancelling so I owed them 800 in total, so I emailed asking if I could pay 29 pounds a month they agreed the first payment was end of August 2016 untill January 2020 of which I have paid 841 so it should be paid, I sent them an email stating I had ceased payment because I had overpaid, they sent an email back saying I still owed 189 pounds I said I was not going to pay anymore not heard anything for 3 months then they have sent an email saying I owe 310 now, they keep sending letters for me to sign stating I'm on breach of contract if I don't sign when I have paid 480 for cancellation*
