  • Banned from M&S

    Hello,
Today I’ve been caught shoplifting in M&S in the Foodhall, the amount was about £15. I pay for some stuff then I try to sneak the rest. The security guy that escorted me was really friendly with me as he said the he has to follow the procedures and banned me from all the M&S but at the same time he was like whisper me that I can still go as long I’m not gonna do anything stupid like that and he would speak with the other security guys the only thing is like that took a photo and they also banned from Westfield for 3 months. So I feel really ashamed and I don’t know if they gonna keep the picture from the rest of my life so if I’ll ever step in Westfield or M&S again everyone will look at me or they will escort me outside.
I fill really anxiuos now. They took my details but they only have my name right, because my address is in Newcastle and I gave them a fake date of birth. Does anyone now what’s gonna happens next? I feel really down and anxious I really regret it but there’s nothing I can do anyway it is what it is.

Sorry to say if you commit and make a problem for yourself, you pay the consequences, my advice is to stay away from M&S as not only did you shoplift you also committed another offence by giving a false address and your D-O-B**

shop elsewhere why? cheaper equivalent and better people who shop Marks & spensive, need to wake up as the profits in one year goes to gross shareholders and over paid CEOs

        Stop worrying about the incident.

The Security guard was correct in that there is nothing they can do if you visit the shops after being banned as long as you are not committing a criminal offence.
If you are spotted (and the chances are slim) and aren't stealing, all they can do is request you leave. If you refuse they can then use sufficient force to remove you from the premises.

You have not committed any offence by giving a false address & dob.
