I paid my Daughter's school £25 for a Leavers Hoodie. They ordered it (personalised), then we went to school to do a socially distanced collection.
One week, 5 hours of wear, and one wash later the jersey weave where the pocket has been stitched on (both sides) has gone into holes.
There is a spot near the cuff where being sewn has split the jersey knit thread and this has run into a ladder, the same on the hood. So four holes total.
Clearly the hoodie is not fit for purpose and will not last, but the school tell me to take up the matter with the company who made the hoodie.
To me, I bought it from the school, and so they need to fix it.
Who is right?
