  • VT Startline advice

    Hello,

    So I have VT my agreement as I’m well over 50%
    but now I have had a phone call saying I’m being charged £445.30 for damages which include;

    1)Missing spare car key (the car didn’t come with 2 keys when I picked it up)

    2) Missing service history (again the car didn’t come with any, I have it from when I had the car)

    3)Missing wheel locking nut (I had to replace them all with normal wheel nuts)

    4)Alloy refurbishment (the alloys where like it when I got the car)

    I have told them the car car didn’t have a spare key, they have said it is up to me to prove that it only come with one key as I am liable to make sure it has 2? Is that true not sure how to approach this.

    Service history I am happy to send them what I have,

    Missing wheel locking nut, the wheel nut got rounded by a garage so I have had to take them all off so there is just normal wheel nuts on the car, so would that still be a chargeable item? Is it a regulation that cars have to have wheel nuts on?

    Alloys refurbishment, when I went to pick the car up there was already scuffs on the car, I asked the dealer and he said it comes with the cars age general wear and tear,

    where do I stand with all of this?
