  • VT Audi Q5 -success with 10k excess Mileage and loads of wear and tear

    Hi All*

I just wanted to say thanks to Rob and the team, I used to just come on and read the comments and downloaded all the example letters that I used against for the VT my 3year old Q5.*
I was over my mileage at that point by 10k and I had 5 areas they said wasn’t wear and tear on the wheels etc. I followed all the instructions here and ignored VWFS hard attack with threading letters from 3rd party credit ref agencies etc, resolved the wear and tear but not mileage. I went via the Ombudsman and 4 months later it’s been agreed I owe £0.00 and no adverse effect on my credit file either, they have been instructed to make sure*

    thanks so much*

    Hi,*

    Thanks for posting your experience.

Can I ask, was it the Ombudsman that made a final decision on this or did this only get as far as the initial investigator? Also, would you mind sharing a redacted version of that decision, it would help others who are in a similar position.
