  • Trouble with Landlord

Hello. A year ago I rented a property which was ruined and needed a complete make over. We wanted a place to open a sunbed shop. There were visible signs of flooding from the roof. We were told that roof has been fixed. When first heavy rain started (a month after we opened* and done it up) it started flooding us again. Every room was affected by the rain. After a year of fight with Landlord we got the money from Landlord's Insurance (which we pay for) to be used for internal renovation. There's still a problem with roof but he keeps saying it has been fixed.*
When heavy rain started last week main drain got blocked and all the water traveled back into our shop flooding all rooms downstairs with sunbeds. We have done all the repairs ourselves and hired a company to fix the roof as well. Now he doesn't want to give us the money back for it saying that our contract is FRI which is completely not true.* Our contract says "The tenant keep the Property clean and tidy and in good repair conditions " (screenshot attached).
Landlord* also says that insurance doesn't cover any of this. We wanted to deal with Insurance Company but couldn't because Landlord is the only named person on the policy.*
What can we do?* Thank you for your help.
