    Hi,

I have received a letter from Moorcroft Debt recovery regarding money payable to Lloyd's (were TSB when the mortgage was taken out).. Moorcroft state that I owe £10,000 and they will contact me again to arrange payment options.

The house was purchased in joint names but my ex partner became violent and we split up. He never paid anything towards the house in the months before he left or when he did leave. I could not aff6the house on my own and it repossesed in January 2000 and sold at auction. I did confirm me updated details with the bank and I still hold the same account with them. I am not aware of any CCJ and Moorcroft have not conf6if there is a CCJ (I have not contacted Moorcroft). This debt is now 20 years old. Please advise of my options.

    Thank you

    Chris
