  • Parking eye appeal

    Hi,
i received a parking ticket for staying in a car park In Liverpool. I had paid for parking that day so when I went onto parking eye to view the evidence the allowed time tab said 0hours 0minutes. I had paid for parking so thought this must be a machine fault. I appealed the claim telling parking eye I had in fact paid for parking that day and the parking ticket must be a mistake. They rejected my claim as you can imagine. I tried again to explain and was rejected again, we went back and forth until this claim reached £175. I then received a message from parking eye saying yes I had paid for a ticket (never agreed previously) but the time on the ticket wasn’t sufficient for my stay (overstayed 24mins). The website when I go on the claim still says allowed time 0hours 0 minutes which is categorically wrong. Do I now have to pay this £175 or do I take it to court ? The ticket issued is wrong and £175 is an obscene amount of money for an administration error on their behalf*
thanks for any advice in advance*
