  • Received RLP letters after shoplifting ages ago, do I pay or can I just ignore?

Several months ago I attempted to shoplift from Primark, I know it was stupid and I do regret my decisions however I have now received a letter from RLP asking for £165. Should I pay them or is it okay to just ignore the letters, I have seen many threads saying that you can just ignore the letters and eventually they'll give up but can someone reassure me that this is in fact the case?*

Yes ignore.* I assume the goods were recovered and therefore no loss.*

Hi, it's me but I've made an account now. The goods were recovered, police weren't involved and we were bassically told off and let go. However the letters say that if we don't pay they could go to court, is this possible. Do I have anything to worry about or can I just ignore.*

What are they going to go to court with?* There has been no loss.

They tried once, the Oxford case, but bot so soundly thrashed they haven't tried since.* The transcripts are on thus site if you search

But won't there be CCTV evidence of us doing it?*

They are not going to waste time looking through CCTV.* They have lost nothing so what can they possibly claim for?* They can't take criminal action, they don't have the authority and they didn't call the police.

Try and find the Oxford case and gave a read
