Hi everyone, this is my first post.
About a month ago my vanquis credit card was used fraudulently. I reported it to vanquis but the stupid person dealing with me went and changed my registered address to the address used for fraud and now that address, accounts and person living there are all on my credit file as though it's me. Defaulted accounts not even in my name are on my report and it has ruined my score.
My business account has been shut by tsb with no explanation, I have been refused credit, even mobile phones but all my credit accounts are all up to date and i'v never missed a payment. It is clearly at fault of vanquis.
What can I do to hold them accountable and if so claim compensation, I have contacted all three credit reference agencies and will be contacting vanquis tomorrow to make an official complaint but I feel it's too late the damage is done.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
