Debt Compare/Clear Start Accountants

Hello. We spoke to Step Change back in April 2019 and they referred us to Debt Compare, who were 'dealing' with our plan until March this year, when they transferred us to Clear Start Accountants. We have paid well over £1500 in total and have currently only had one debt agreed and is now being paid. I am hitting brick walls whenever I speak to anyone, despite me regularly phoning and complaining and we are now being inundated by creditors again. What can I do to extract myself from these people, or at least get them to handle the account as they promised????

Unfortunately it sounds like you’ve been in contact with an imposter company that’s been using our name, as we wouldn’t refer our clients to a third party company like Debt Compare. We also don’t charge our clients for the ongoing maintenance of our plans.
