    Hi all,

    just want to see if this is even legal as it’s really sketchy.

    the company I work for has offered 40 hour weeks as an option, you can opt into this but have no way of coming out of it once you opt in.

    this is where it’s sketchy, they have increased the amount of hours you need to work to qualify for overtime rate of pay it used to be >35 hours and now it’s 40 hours, they also are not changing peoples contract for this increased amount of hours per week so therefore your holiday entitlement is still the same. So if you took a week off work you would only receive pay for 35 hours.

    Is this right?
