  • Ccj from parking fine(s) and submitting n244. Do i have a case?

    Hi,

I will thank everyone in advance for reading this. I will keep it short and just give you facts as opposed the story behind them.

    1) I moved into a house in 2015 (Living and registered at address A)
    1) I purchased a car in January 2016 (Living and registered at address A)
    2) I took a logbook loan against said car in October 2016. The logbook loan company retained the logbook for the car. (Living and registered at address A)
    4) I then moved home 5/16/2017. I informed the logbook loan company of my new address. Registered for council tax. Changed bank address etc. (Living and registered at address B)
    3) I used the car for work and parked at a neighbouring building. I had permission to park there by the duty manager at the time but as this manger has now left the company, it will be nearly impossible to provide proof. This is where I apparently picked up a parking ticket on 30/01/2018 but nothing left on my car at the time. (Living and registered at address B)
    5) Said car failed the MOT. Repairs were not viable at the time so I took a company car option. (Living and registered at address B)
    6) Car with loan against it went into storage off the road and I continued to pay the loan against it. It remains in storage to this day. (Living and registered at address B)
    7) I then moved home again 16/05/2018. Registered for council tax. Changed bank address etc. (Living and registered at address C)
    8) I then moved home again in January 2020 and have finally settled. This takes me to my current address and I have little intention of moving. (Living and registered at address D)

I make a credit check on my file last week and notice 2No CCJ(s) have been issued for the same parking fine to the sum total of £950! All correspondence have been sent to address A; Even though there is a clear trail of address changes on my credit file, Council tax, Banks, Phone company etc.

The car logbook address has not been changed as its with the Logbook loan company and they have always been kept up to date with my address changes.

Do I have a case to have these CCJ(s) set aside? It's absolutely killed my credit rating that was already poor.

    Many thanks once again everyone.
