Hi! I have a daughter. She's 15 y.o. and I'm freaking nervous that she started dating a 18 y.o. guy. I know that's not a big difference in years but I'm distrustful towards him. He drives her home late, she doesn't want to tell me where she was and I feel like I'm loosing contact with her.I tried to talk to her but she only gets angry and says she's adult enough to do what she wants.I read that the phone of the other person can be spied here , it's something like parental control, but all messages, calls and social media info can be seen. There's also a location tracker which is the most important for me.Is it possible to use it or it's illegal?
Is it legal to track phone?

I don't believe it is illegal but your daughter will not be too enamoured about it.* My granddaughter had a tracker app added to her phone by her father (mother and father are separate) and granddaughter, 16,* is not happy at all about it but keeps it active so as not to upset him.* Let's say she suffers him but prefers to be elsewhere* However, when she doesn't want him to know where she is she turns the GPS off.* Simples.* I would suggest you don't do it but get used to the ides that your daughter is growing up and you have to loosen off the reins and bite your tongue.* You will probably will lose contact with her if you track every thing in her life.

From what I have heard, it is okay to track your families phone member. I have done similar thing using this guide on how to track my sons iPhone without him knowing, xxx here. I mean as a parent, it is our responsibility to monitor our children all the time so that they are safe, isn't it?

MIKE770 there's no such thing as privacy now a days, 1984 arrived sometime ago!
That is one reason why I do not own a mobile phone.... when I'm out, I'm out and will not be contactable and I would quite happily see the banning of
private CCTV and ANPR cameras scanning areas to which the public have access.
They give a false sense of security
