Notice of enforcement

Hi

i have just received a notice of enforcement from a company that have been instructed by South Gloucester Council to recover a Penalty Charge Notice issue for her car on 14Feb. This is the first we have heard about this. We have not received a warrant or any further notification of debt. We are not even sure what the original penalty charge is for. However, we now stand to pay over £400! Is there anything that can be done about this?

Have you checked what address is on the vehicle V5? Otherwise ask the Council and/or Court what address all documentation has been sent to. Would seem strange you have never received anything. As to appealing it you need to contact the Traffic Enforcement Centre and ask for the appropriate forms to fill in for an Out of Time.
