  • Property advice over seperation

I have been with my partner for around 5 years, we both had our own properties. *I rented mine out when I moved in with her and we have since had 2 children.

We have had one more child, they are now 1 and 3. *Last year we moved into our home which we are both down on the mortgage for. *Prior to moving she made me sign an indemnity meaning I had no claim to the equity she had carried over.

We are now looking into separating. *I don't want any involvement with the mortgage and in the interim will rent locally. *I am happy of course to financially support the children but long term is she entitled for me to pay half the mortgage for the 20 or so years left on it?
