Hi,
EDF owed my elderly mother £1000. Tried every which way to get it back and then made a court claim to EDF's head office. I had also emailed them countless times telling them a claim had been made against them. They failed to respond to the claim and so a CCJ was issued in my favour for them to pay the amount in full. EDF's solicitor has just been on the phone saying they are applying to have it set aside because they never received the original claim. (although they had received the CCJ which was sent to same address). Because I sent it to their head office and not their registered company address (via the courts) is this a technicality which will work against me? Any help gratefully received. Thank you
