  • Clarity on landlord right to evict

My son left London after the restrictions on movement were announced. Leaving all his belongings behind.
He was just about to move from one rented house to another. His tenancy runs out on 4th April. The landlord is trying to persuade him to hire a van and drive to London (from Shropshire) move out so that his new tenants can move in. Its uncertain if this is a necessary journey but the landlord is insisting. legally What rights does both my son and the landlord have given the restrictions on movement?*
