  • Parking charge from Horizon for parking at Tesco Silverburn

I just received a letter saying I overstayed parking at Tesco Silverburn by 36 minutes.
the fine is for £70. The company issuing the fine are called Horizon. I have never noticed signage at Tesco where I shop frequently. Is this legal. Mike

First of all edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, use "the driver......" etc.

It's not a fine, it's an invoice for an alleged breach of conditions of a contract agreed by the driver IF they were able to see the signs. The registered keeper has received the letter. The registered keeper can only be held liable of they have complied fully with the conditions to Schwedule 4 of The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/...dule/4/enacted

Post up the Notice to keeper you received suitably redacted but leave dates. Suggest an external site such as imgur and post the link on here.

Pictures of the signs and their location would be helpful
