My sister stole my inheritance but gave my brother his share what can I do can I contact police

when did the person die?
Was there more than one executor
Was there a will?
Have you seen it?
Was probate obtained?
If not do you know the value of the estate?
Were you named on the will as a beneficiary?

If there was no will did your sister obtain letters of administration?
What relationship were you to the deceased?

Sister got administrator of letters , house sold for £65,000 my mam passed away March 2017 there are 5 siblings all together i have had no contact with sister everything through solicitors house sold in Augy2019 all sister immediate family drug dependent*

So there was no will.
Have you contacted the solicitor regarding your share of the estate?
You say you have had no contact with your sister. Does that mean you have written to her but had no response?*

Yes there is no will and have got a solicitor involved .Sister already abused power of attorney took it to the ombudsman nothing doing she left my mam with nothing in the bank in was in the overdraft spent money after she had passed away no contact with sister for 5 years*

Suspicions regarding abuse of Power of Attorney are never investigated after the donor has passed away.

Really you need to be guided by your solicitor, but as your share of the house is only about £13,000 and as your sister's family are addicted to drugs it is possibly questionable if any of your inheritance is left.

I guess that just leaves the police as I guess that theft has taken place if she has spent it then, you have more or less say what I think was the case.

Also there was £10,000 pounds outstanding on a loan,

The police might not take any action, although stealing from an estate is a criminal* offence.
Even if they do, you will still probably have to take civil action to obtain your legacy.
However if the money has gone, even if you win a claim against her, it will not recover the legacy
