  • Court hearing return of goods

    Hi
I need advice regarding my case.
    In 2015 I bought a new car.
I paid monthly for 4 years.
Final payment ment to be paid on march 2019. (I had option to pay in full or refinance)Unfortunately when I rang the company they said that my refinance option is not available for me any more as I rang to late.I tried to agree some kind of payment plan but they refused. Ask for full payment or car back. I could not pay in full I decided to wait. I paid more that 2/3 of full car price and they could not confiscate car without court. In november I've been contacted by lawyer. I did admit that I own debt and offer repayment option: I will pay monthly for 6 months to pay off debt. - they didint agree to my offer.
They inform me that case will go to court.
But as well they did say if I pay off debt in 3 monts and sign conset order they will drop the case. I didn't understand what was the consent order. I made first payment. After that I received consent order - ( that I let them to collect my car with no future letters if I fail with payment and that I agree to pay for: fixed cost on issue, fixed costs on Judgment, court fee, solicitor agent fee.I don't really agree to pay extra for all that fees as from the beginning I was willing to pay. I didint sign that. But alredy paid 80% of debt. Court hearing is on friday. But what is worst My son (10 years old) have operation in hospital in the same day in different town and i cant attend Hearing. What will happen if I dont attend court. or what i can do to fix the situation? Thank you
