  • Tm legal ccj/charging order domiciled in scotland

    Hi*
*I recently received a letter from TM Legal starting I had a CCJ no other details provided and that they were possibly going to take out a charging order on my property. However the CCJ which I have just found out is in my credit report from 2018 at an English court when I have been living in Scotland since 2016. Firstly should this not have been done through the Scottish courts and can they legally enforce this without it going through the Scottish legal system? Secondly can they even threaten a charging order if I do live in Scotland? *I really don’t want to respond to them without being fully armed of my legal rights. I am selling my property in Scotland at this moment in time so would be good to get an idea of how to respond. Thank you. Please note even my credit report doesn’t say who the creditor is so I have no idea what this is about. Thank you.*
