I resigned verbally after I was told I would be disciplined for going to a meeting whilst I was in leave. The meeting was in my diary and breached no policy. It was a meeting I was told to prioritise. I have been told I could not reduce my workload and was on an 'improvement plan' due to being unable to keep up with my work load.
I felt this was the straw that broke the camel's back and said I would resign.
âi sent an email to HR saying what happened but simply stated 'I said I would resign'
i was in*an emotional state and left work.
Where do I stand legally?
