  • Barclay Credit Card

    Hello*
I am a new member and a friend advised me on this forum, I have some questions regarding my Barclays Credit Card. I’m now nearly 31 and got the card at 19. its never really been empty and the most I’ve had on at one time is 6k I tried to contact them and ask for help because I wasn’t working but I was advised to pay minimum payment to avoid defaulting but I was already doing that and minimum payment was £100+ a month which crippled me, they then froze my card to the 6k limit. They have raised the limit now to £12k and in all this time they have never asked about my circumstances or jobs, income just rose my credit limit then frozen it when I mentioned I was in trouble. My apr was 16.5% they have tried to up this and I have always argued this as. I have no paperwork from originally taking out the card but I’m sure they have breeched these over the years of screwing me over!*
I have just transferred my balance To clear it but I want to raise all this with them as I feel they have never treated me fairy and didn’t listen when I asked for help then just upped my limit which could of gotten me into real trouble.*
