  • guarentees/warranties on goods

there is a long version to my question if you require it, but what it boils down to is........if you buy an item with a 12 month warranty, have problems with it, return it to the retailer because it is broken, they accept that the fault is in the making of the goods, and give you a brand new one;* * * does the second item have another 12 months warranty, or only the remaining warranty on the first item.........and can the retailer refuse to deal with you after the first 30 days as expired, referring you to there supplier, saying it is them that give the warranty.

Normally the warranty would be that renaming on the first item. Give some times

But often the manufacturer will be willing to talk*

But besides the warranty (which is additional to your statutory rights) you have the protection of the Consumer Rights act 2015 which places the onus firmly on the retailer!
