  • Parking fine - Marston Holdings - HELP

Hi, ive just had an enforcement agent banging down my door at 7:30am this morning 24/01/2020. I did not answer the door to him, eventually he left but posted a 'final notice' letter and a 'notice to enter & search'. The letters state that i owe £480 to HMCTS for F*** knows what. Ive done a bit of research but need more advice before i contact this ass****.

    1. The letter does not state the court or what the fine is for.
    2. One of my names are missing on the letters addressed to me
    3. Can they force entry?

If my name is not correct, does this mean that this paperwork is irrelevent to me?*

Please can someone help me. Thanks

Are you aware of an unpaid Court Fine - could be from several years ago? Usual suspects are TV Licence, motoring offences, Rail prosecutions etc. It should have the name of the Court group it has come from rather than a specific Court - HMCTS Wales and the South West Enforcement Contact Centre for example.

I would suggest the "fine" outstanding to be £170. If it is for an unpaid fine then please be aware the Warrant they have does allow for forced entry if they believe you are wilfully evading them. As for the name that is missing then would depend on whether it makes a difference in identifying you as you are commonly known.
