  • Vehicle control services notice of intention

Hi, looking for some advice on parking invoices. I was sent invoice in 2015 for £100 for stopping on the side of the road for 11 seconds at Liverpool airport. I ignored 3 letters had no correspondence. Now nearly 5 years on I’ve received a letter from vehicle control services saying they are passing it on to direct bailiffs if I do t pay. Do I pay or do I continue to ignore ? Thank you in advance

So what are DCBL going to do, apart from write threatening letters? They would not be acting as bailiffs, there has been no court case , just mere debt collectors with no powers

Can't read the letter, insufficient definition

You have to remember that DCBL still dine out on their notoriety from Can't Pay, We'll Take it Away. It used to be they never pointed out they were not acting as Bailiffs or HCEOs but pressure was brought to bear because of them using letter headings that made folks think they were. In cases like yours then my cat has more powers than they do. Just be wary that the Parking Co may take it further if they fancy a punt at Court.
