Hi,
I am looking for some advice as my HP with Skoda expires on 1st March.
ideally I would like to hand the car back and get something with less monthly payments as I am currently paying £191 a month. However, I am 10,000 miles over my agreed mileage and this will equate to £440. If I was to hand the car back would the dealership allow me to pay this monthly over a certain period or would they want it upfront?
The other options I though of was to VT the car with VWFS with one months payment left to avoid paying the excess mileage charge. The only defect to the car is a small chip to the middle of the windscreen. With such a short amount of time left is it worth all the hassle it seems to be to get a VT go through smoothly.*
Alternatively, what is the likelihood that another dealership would buy me out of my contract and use whatever money is left over towards the purchase of a new car.
This will be the first time I have changed vehicles so not quite sure what to do and any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.
