Civil claim - non payment for work done

Hi - I’m a sole trader. *Supplied and fitted kitchen consumer hasn’t paid anything and is refusing payment - don’t think he ever intended to pay. *All alleged faults are essentially snags which I haven’t been permitted to correct. *Currently completing N181 form and disclosure document for court. *Need a little help with court rules and procedures as I will be representing myself.

Hi Danny

You have already submitted the claim against your customer for non payment of your invoice ( to supply and fit a kitchen ), they have defended the claim and you are completing your Directions Questionnaire. The claim is for over £10k ?

Do you have a signed agreement with the customer - plans, agreed quotation, payment terms etc ? You didn't take any deposit payment or payment for the units/worktops etc upfront?

Have you visited the property and discussed the issues with the customer, and offered to rectify anything legitimate ?
