  • Premier parking - up coming Court Case

    Hello*
After support and advice. December 2015 one dark , wet, windy evening I was called to collect some passengers, the area in question turned out to be land owned by premier park. It was dark, signage couldn’t be seen, signage was inadequate and unlit, I was totally unaware and did not know the area. Their camera said I had waited 12 minutes with engine on, for passengers. Within a few months received a bill for £100 reduced to £60 if I paid ASAP . *Was a complete shock, I was advised to ignore. Bill Went to debt collector 2016 then nothing for couple of years , we appealed to the owners direct *but there was nothing they could do and now we’re due to attend small claims court in February! *Receiving *bundles of letters and threats from bwlegal to make Payments and negotiate a deal out of court , I’ve supplied my picture evidence and statements to them and the courts but feel like We’re over our heads and unguided. Any help or advice appreciated*

I don't know how the camera could tell you had the engine on. They record you going in and going out that is all. Unless it's a video camera they are using.
What is the date in question and what date did you receive the first notification ? You say "within a few months" ? They only have 14 days from the date of alleged contravention to send a notice out so they have no case.
You say you are going to court in February ? Who told you this ? Have you had a claim form from a court ? If so what and how did you reply to it ?
