just been to argos {sainsbury} Hinckley and when I was leaving put car details into m/c and was told by m/c that I had over stayed by 22hrs 14 mins. I had been there day b4 but I checked out on m/c with nothing to pay and left, is there anything I can do?

Wait for the Notice to keeper that will arrive and then go into Sainsbury and complain to the manager.* Take in receipts, if you can, from both days.
