Hi ANOBLES and AMETHYST*

I have an unbelievably interesting issue with and electricity supplier that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. *The root cause/problem is childishly simple. *The resolution on the other hand has been impossible over the last 11, yes, 11, years!

I posted it here originally.. The post was only a brief intro to the problem, the full technical explanation of all the nuances and interactions of the various enactments and EU directives*relating to the operation of retail energy markets are a revelation.*I have a detailed technical document that I'd be more than happy to share with you.*My area of ignorance is in the legal (read Court and CPR) processes and procedures and this is*currently preventing me from bring this matter to a conclusion and "encouraging" (read beating with a stick)*the supplier to lay the matter before a*County Court as a civil debt (no prizes for guessing why they are so resistant to go down that route).

There is also a very serious and insidious public interest element to this and its had my moral compass swinging wildly all over the place from day one, and I have had no qualms in stating directly to the energy company that their closing their eyes to the matter has real potential to lead to those most unable to help themselves dying in the cold of winter!!*

I was considering a crowdfunding campaign to shed light on this murky world of deceit and mistrust but haven't had the time to*invest in it at present, but if either or both of you are interested in a whirlwind forensic introduction to the electricity market and feel like sinking your teeth into the soft underbelly of a very large (possibly largest) energy supplier I would love to partner up and see if we can weave a web to *"stick it to em" for want of another phrase??

Ideally, my deepest desire would also be to pressure for changes to the market through more equitable legislation and the removal of the presumption woven into the DNA of the market, that anyone who has any form of dispute with an energy supplier is a thief.

I haven't been able to cover everything but hopefully I have sowed fertile seed. Grateful for your attention ........ please take a few moments to reflect and consider this subject in conjunction with the idiom below

Thanks for the message. Funnily enough, I have represented customers disputing energy bills and issues in the past when litigating for the Energy Ombudsman... May I ask what your issue was specifically, was there an aspect of back billing? *
