    I wouldn't be worried even if he did allege assault in a complaint to the police.
    From your initial posts it would seem there is little evidence that an assault* occurred and even if it did**that you were the perpetrator
    Also, the more time there is between the incident happening and reporting it to the police, the harder it will be for the police to gather the evidence.

    And as already advised, if police come calling insist on the presence of your solicitor.
