I have bought an Ford transit van on 15.5.2019 from Ford dealership. There was a issue with black smoke coming out of exhaust from day 1. Couple of weeks after I wanted to reject the car but the sales person tried to persuade me not to and to let them repair it (I got a email when I asked for rejection or replacement - never received reply). Van was there for repair in June (black smoke), July (still black smoke) October (black smoke gone but new problem with diesel smell inside van). I had enough and I just don't want them to repair it again and asked finance company for rejection. The t have sent an independent engineer who confirmed there is a smell inside the can caused by injector seal. He said that it's minor fault though and can be fixed in 15 to 20 min. Finance company based on their evidence decided not to accept rejection. What steps shall I take? I am not happy to accept the repair only and I have some evidence as well.Â*
