Wonder if anyone can help.
I bought some goods from a sole trader operating under a specific name. The goods were faulty, so I returned them and asked for a refund. He refused the refund as it was against his terms and conditions, even though his website stated a 30 day money back guarantee.
Without my knowledge, he is now operating as a Ltd company, ie "specific name" Ltd, the name being the same as previous but with Ltd added on . One of the directors of that company is now threatening to sue for libel, for a post I left on a website.
Can this new Ltd Co. do this, as I have had no dealings or signed contracts or purchased anything from this Ltd Co. only when he operated as a sole trader.
