I keep getting three to four phone calls a day from a company asking me to supply my data, so they can proceed with my claim for PPI. I cannot remember asking this company to pursue a claim. I don't want to keep getting these phone calls they are making me ill. I have received a letter from lloyds asking to fill in, I have not been with lloyds for over 10 years, I also recovered a letter from ally asking me to sign and fill in.but I received PPI claim that I pursued my self, which I believed was about 4 years ago, what are my rights regarding the high pressure sales men

Is it Allay that are constantly calling you?
Can you block their number on your phone?

You should write to them and ask them to stop, and to communicate only in writing.

I'll get a letter example together for you shortly xx

This letter from Lloyds, what is the form they're asking you to complete? Is it to make a claim for PPI ? Does it mention why they are writing to you ( have they have contact from any third party ?)

Have you ever filled in your details in any 'free ppi check' website, pop up or app as far as you recall? anything via Facebook ?

The letter from Allay that they want you to sign - does it look like this?

Have kind of wrapped everything up in one letter.

      Name
      Address

      Date

      Allay
      Allays Address

      Dear Allay

Any reference number/ your telephone number.

I am writing to complain about the frequency and inappropriate times of your telephone calls as they’re causing me considerable stress. Please remove my telephone number from your database and send all future communications in writing to my home address only.

Additionally I am in receipt of a letter from you dated xxxxxxxxxxxx in which you ask me to complete and return documents to you. I do not wish to use your services and have not entered into any agreement with you to do so.

I therefore shall not be providing you with the details requested and would appreciate it if you could remove all data you hold and/or process related to me. You are obliged to do this on my request under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations. If you refuse to do this please send me copies of all data held and consider this letter a subject access request.

If you consider I have entered into any agreement with you, if within the past 14 days, please accept this letter as cancellation of such agreement and confirm such in writing.

Should you believe I have entered into any agreement with you prior to 14 days please send me full copies of any documentation you hold which you consider evidences such.

Please confirm in writing that you have updated your records accordingly.

To reiterate, please do not contact me by telephone again.

      Regards

      Ratbag
