  • Highview Parking - Charge Notice

    Hello,
I have been looking on your site for advice about a PCN I have recieved as keeper.

Due to work and a learning course, I have not been living at my home address for several months and have only found the letter on my return. It is dated early August (It is now mid October) however I have not had any follow up correspondence.

The driver was unaware of the parking procedures, but did spend the required amount to have allowed 3 hours of parking despite only being parked for 47minutes, and has a bank statement to prove this. However, due to being away, the time for reduced fine and appeal has passed and I am unsure how to proceed. I do not want to have to deal with debt collectors for 6 years or have anything on a credit record (I've heard this can happen without an appeal).

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you

If there has been no change of address then there should be no unexpected happenings

Post up the first Notice received, suitably redacted but leave dates

You do not deal with debt collectors, you ignore them

Apologies for the delay, I have now registered and can add to the post. I have attached the letter I initially received with all information redacted.

I have now received a follow up letter stating that the outstanding amount of £70 is now due and if not paid within 14 days an initial debt recovery charge will be incurred.

      Any help is appreciated.
