Hello everyone, new to the forum and hope someone could give some advice please. We have a freehold property with a parking area /piece of land in front which is part of the title deeds,
adjoining are land there is another piece of unregistered land which is between us and the next door neighbour, we have both been using this unregistered land for parking of our cars and storage of
waste bins we also maintain our wall and railings which run alongside this unregistered land .we have been using this small piece of land for about 10years and the previous owner of our property for over 60 years , our neighbour has been living there for 3 years. our neighbour has now been granted planning consent to install bollards and chain linking which will block are access to this land, we did appose
the planning application buy the council approved it anyway, we need to know really do they have a legal right to block are right of way and use of the unregistered land .
any advice would be appreciated please.
