Penalty charge notice.

Received penalty notice from Highview Parking for overstaying the time limit at Treliske Retail Park I didnt see a sign but wasnt particularly looking for one!

I was actually going to pay the fine but on contacting HVP -
1. the charge notice reference was rejected as being incorrect.
2. The address of where to send a cheque quoted on their automated service was different to the address on the payment slip?!
3. On checking out their website yet a 3rd address is shown.
4. You can't speak to anyone even when you've rung the number they've given to contact them - it just cuts off!

All of the above made me very hesitant to hand over any monies and gave me reason to Google HVP where I came across various Forums & yourself.
Please advise what I should do next as from reading the forums & the fact they appear totally incompetent I don't want to pay a penny!

So after reading you should now be aware that it is not a penalty merely an invoice. Also edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot e inferred. Use " the driver....." etc

Post up the PCN suitably redacted but leave dates
