  • I have a Judgement and Warrant against a large company

I have been speaking with a large company for a while and kept them abreast of my claim against them but they allowed a default judgement to go through against them. Once I involved the Ballifs they got their legal team involved.

The legal team now want the default judgement set aside and also want to do so without hearing. How do I tell the court that they have been aware of 6the claim since its inception and object strongly to the default being set aside?.

Have they applied to the court to set aside the judgment ( if so on what grounds ) or are they asking you to consent to the set aside so they can go on to defend the claim ?

They have applied to the court as they believe the case should be brought against their US LLC not UK LTD.

How do I explain to the Judge that they are just trying to be slippery?

And how do I stop getting this all done without a hearing?
