hi, new to this, I have about 2 days in which to file a defence.Out of the blue I received a County Court claim form for a loan taken out in 2014. At the time I took out a few loans one of which was with MEM financial or similar. I’ve no idea who Instant Cash loans are or Payday UK and I believe these have since gone bust. The loan was taken out on 5th June 2013, and I was struggling to repay but the last payment was on 29th April 2014. This was a token repayment as part of an agreed repayment plan.
No emails exchanged since or contact.
BW Legal seem to have taken this over. Given the length of time and the company name issue and the fact they may be even out of business, where do I stand on this?do I have any defence or any guidelines?
