Hi. So what has happened is I went to pick up a passenger from trinity park roadways in Birmingham. Passenger said they would be outside waiting, got there but no passenger, so waited for literally 2-3 minutes if not less to call passenger to see where he was. No answer so I left. During this time, no other vehicles entered or left, I didn’t not obstruct anything and the road was clear and empty. A few days later I got a pcn from CPM. I appealed this with IPC I think which was rejected, a few debt collector letters came and then nothing. Now the other day I receive a letter before claim from Gladstones solicitors which says they have been instructed to commence legal action against me. So I’m to pay £160 within 30 days when the initial charge was £60. I just find it really irritating that I was there for a mere 2 minutes and have a valid reason too, I did not beach any contract or anything. Any help. Will send copies of the pcn and letters I have

I just want to know what to do next. Should I just pay it off, £160, which is a lot of money. Or is there anyway around this? Much appreciated many thanks

I did appeal to the IAS, but they also rejected the appeal

IAS will always reject, it's owned by the IPC.

What's the time stamps on that PCN? Has the identity of the driver been given? Yes or No

The IPC also refused the appeal. Well on the original PCN the timing is 11.25, but then on another letter they have time 11.30, when we questioned this their answer was that the driver was observed between 11.26-11.30.
the driver was myself and this has never been hidden, i never said that it wasn’t me, as it was me in the car

                        Sorry meant from 11.25-11.30.
although the photos provided are from 11.25 only and nothing to show for 11.30.
