  • Free cigarettes

Hi my name is Max and I am new here, my gripe I suppose is this Marlboro are putting liveries back onto motor racing vehicles, maybe not the exact same but the colour logo shape etc reminds me of Marlboro cigarettes. This type of behaviour is what Marlboro did in 1987 when I was 15 year old boy I was with a friend in Bournemouth at the pier and young women in bikinis with large baskets were handing out free packs of 5 Marlboro light and Silk Cut lights. I blame these companies for getting me addicted at such an age without giving any literature to say the awful risks I was doing to my young body, it took over 30 years to kick that habit. My choice was taken from me by a very clever company who have documented themselves they did this, which they also did in African countries at the time. Do I have a case, probably not.

    1) which logos on which vehicles remind you of iconic Marlboro advertising
    2) what is connection between freebies handed out in Bournemouth by young ladies and advertising on racing cars? The nearest decent circuit is probably Thruxton
    3) what sort of case do you think you might have?
