I received a Parking Charge Notice from Smart parking. I had entered the registration of my old vehicle in error. I wrote to them appealing the notice on the grounds that it was a genuine error,I had bought a ticket but had entered the wrong registration number in error. I included a copy of the ticket with my previous registration and also a copy of my car log book showing that I had only just changed my vehicle to the other. I have received a letter today to say that SP have'considered my appeal in detail we have decided to uphold the parking charge notice as we believe that it was correctly issued in accordance with the terms and conditions advertised within the area concerned.
Is there anything else I can do to appeal this notice? ems unfair as I did have a valid ticket displayed?

I dont wish to hi jack your problems with this company, this is what we are going through now, we entered there controlled car park, in ( July not correct date), entered the reg of the car, and paid for parking, they sent us a fine stating we had not paid for parking when alleged we parked 2 weeks later, at !!exactly the same time !! ?. Appeal to POPLA. dismissed, and i pay the £45,they will not accept we did not park on there second alledged occasion, I sent many letters all to no avail, I have found that no mater what defence you offer they will not relent. PS in our case there was so many problem the land owner dismissed them from the site, removing all equipment, cameras and ticket machine ect
