So no evidence yet but I can refer to it in my defence letter and say I will be producing as evidence?

      Thanks

The written defence is usually a concise statement which is a response to the Claimant's Particulars of Claim.
Basically, admit to the areas which are common ground, rebut any claims where necessary, & add any further details which go to the defence.
It is always wise to add
Each and every allegation in the Claimants statement of case is denied unless specifically admitted in this Defence.
        as 'catch-all'.
Any supporting documentation is normally added later in the process (Witness Statement, skeleton argument etc.).
