Sorry to go on again. If the secruity were going to look at the CCTV from the day I shoplifted do you think they would have done it by now? I'm still expecting police to turn up! I've got this image that they are sitting there going through CCTV from everytime i've been to the retail park. Still anxious but you have been helpful...thank you.

No one is going through the CCTV just to see if you have possibly been shoplifting.
Just think how much that would cost them!

          Hello

I hope you don’t mind me messaging you, but I came across your post while I was anxiously awake last night and searching the internet. It really struck a chord with me because I’ve done something similar at a FatFace store recently, and it’s been playing on my mind ever since. I can’t stop worrying that the police might track me down. Like you I also suffer with anxiety and it was a spur of the moment stupid decision to do this which I have regretted and even considering taking the item back, but worried they’ll trace my car if I return.

If you’re comfortable sharing, I was wondering if you could tell me a bit more about your experience?

How long it was between your visits to the retail park - I am really surprised they used ANPR on your car and this is really freaking me out.

if you don’t mind saying, which retail park was this or what area of the country?

Did you conceal the items when you were in the changing room, or the shop floor? And did the alarms go off when you left?

I completely understand if you’d rather not talk about it, (I see this post was 2019 and hope you’ve managed to get over it!!) but I’d really appreciate any insight you could give. It’s been a difficult few days, and knowing some more details might help me settle my nerves a bit.

Thank you so much, and take care,
          Sunflower

It might be better to start a thread here - https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...oss-prevention
