    Hi please can you help we have paid a roofer to do our roof he has taken 3/4 of the tiles off. he has worked four days out of two months kept asking for money (which we paid) and now he's gone
    we paid cash and have no address for him we know the name of he's company is there any way we can trace him.we paid him several thousand pounds please help.

      Ok well as Des says report to the police but in terms of recovering your money this will be a little tricky, Tpower is a company i use to trace people in these circumstances http://tpowersolutions.co.uk/page9.html they may be able to help you.

      Once you find the guy, then you will have to look at your options, you will probably have to take him to court to get any redress as it sounds like he isnt the most honest trusty worthy person, so unlikely he will simply cough up and repay you.
