  • Parking fine on private land

I've received a parking ticket from an unknown person/company when parking on some open derelict land nearby to a local hospital, there are no signs or warnings on there and I've seen multiple cars parked there before when I've driven past. It doesnt seem to be an official council ticket or from the hospital but it was in a yellow and black plastic envelope, is this a wind up or should I take it seriously? I don't know whether to ignore it?

Any advice would be appreciated x

Sorry I meant it was from an individual persons name not a company or from the hospital, that's why I'm confused, there is no address on the ticket either?

What did the ticket say? With no signs there can be o contract and therefore no charge

          Sounds like an attempted scam.
I would file and wait to see if there is a notice to keeper sent later
