Good evening All, I am writing now to ask advise on the following. I have 2 CCJ's registered against me from a few years ago now and Lowells bought the debt and advising me that I need to set up a payment plan within 14 days. I have the CCJ on file and i am asking do I have to pay the full debt on the CCj or can I negotiate a lowercost but one off payment for these debts ? My empoyers are trying to help me close the debts off with a company loan less than high street interest over a longer period. As i cannot source a loan to clear these. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dear All, I have now checked the CCJ's, I have three registered against me and these are the amount's and date's.
26/05/2015 @ £2807.00 - Robinson Way Proposed Reconnection visit ( 27/02/2019 )
03/11/2015 @ £1415.00 - Lowell Solicitors Potential Enforcement in 7 days ( 30/05/2019 )
17/02/2016 @ £2349.00 - Lowell Solicitors Potential Enforcement in 7 days ( 30/05/2019 )
Do I have an option of paying part balance or need to complete the full balance to have put aside?. Any assistance would be a great help going forward.
Thanks LGM.

Hi All, Would i be correct in thinking after searching the internet, I will have to pay the full balance to courts and then pay £15 per each CCJ for a certificate of satisfaction ? I will not be able to clear these CCJ's with part payment agreements to the debt collectors ? Do i pay the courts that issued the debts or the the debt collectors?
Thanks LGM.

Morning LGM, My apologies for having missed your posts previously...
Why are your employers keen to see you settle these Judgment debts? ( I mean it seems a nice thing to do and everything but taking on additional debt, from your employer, regardless of interest rate, could be problematic should anything 'go wrong')
Sometimes negotiating with the Judgment Holder can get a settlement lower than the amount of the original judgment if they will inform the register/courts that the judgment has been satisfied. The judgments will still show on the register for the 6 years from the judgment date but would be marked as satisfied.
If you want to just pay the full judgment debt and obtain a certificate of satisfaction you would pay the Judgment holder directly, the full amount, and send evidence of the payment to the court with your request ( and fee ) for a certificate of satisfaction.
Depending what the reason is you want to pay them off you could also consider filing an application to court to pay the judgement by affordable instalments to avoid 'enforcement' ( What kind of enforcement are Lowell's threatening anyway? ) This is done with the form N245 and costs of £50 for each judgement. Do you have any idea if the judgements were originally for monthly instalments or forthwith?
Also where are you aware of the judgements when they were first obtained ( seems possibly not for the third one ) And do you actually know what they are for?#staysafestayhome

Good evening Amethyst, Thank your for replying and I will try and answer in points below :
Please note I am now in a position where I have been offered a mortgage with my partner and would really like closure on the negative past and clear up my credit.
Why are your employers keen to see you settle these Judgment debts? My employers are offered for me to clear the debts up as discussed my mortgage application how difficult its been to source with these on my record, I understand and thought over the implication of this debt but as i have a good relationship with my MD and the global group and unable to source a loan seemed the perfect fit.
If you want to just pay the full judgment debt and obtain a certificate of satisfaction you would pay the Judgment holder directly - So this would be Lowell's / Robinson?
Depending what the reason is you want to pay them off you could also consider filing an application to court to pay the judgement by affordable instalments to avoid 'enforcement' ( What kind of enforcement are Lowell's threatening anyway? ) I am only receiving letters so far but they may appear at my door ? If i am paying instalments these will still be on my credit report until paid? which the company loan still seems a better option ?
Do you have any idea if the judgements were originally for monthly instalments or forthwith? I will be honest I was not in a good place closing my business down being self employed and I have no paperwork to even remember what these debts from. So I made no payments, Not the best method I know but trying to get to the bottom of this now.
Also where are you aware of the judgements when they were first obtained ( seems possibly not for the third one ) And do you actually know what they are for? I think one was a joint loan from many years ago and HBOS accounts but strange I have just been compensated for a claim also which is not huge but I did wonder if this was correct but seems so, what they are I cannot honestly say as i have no paperwork after relocating and having no personal filing since leaving a relationship.
Hope this helps or makes a little more sense ?
thanks LGM
