    Hi everyone
Can anyone give me some advice pleeeease
I have just quit a job after four weeks as my employer was paying me minimum wage for doing the jobs that three employees should have been doing.
I usually get paid weekly in cash on a Friday eith a wage slip in the envelope. My employer has sent me several sarcastic/not very nice messages in the past few days...she says I am not getting paid this week because 'I never signed in or out' this is a new thing that came in about three weeks ago...she never even told me to sign in or out and I certainly never signed anything in regards to this new signing in and out thing....I never signed in once and I think I actually signed out once in three weeks. ..working approx 45 hrs a week.
Anyway I left mostly because my anxiety was getting really bad...now this wk I can't get to my appointments in regards to it....and after the funny texts ....she is refusing to do a bank transfer of money. She said I have to wait one week for my money and a bank transfer is out of the question. I have to somehow get there and pick the cash up in person. Anxiety through roof after falling out with her. I dont want to yo back there and see everyone. I think she knows this and that is why she making me wait...and walk six miles to pick them up next week. I will be stressin about this all week now

I appreciate this must be a stressful situation but if your ex-employer is not agreeing to a bank transfer and then it seems the only way to get your owed wages will be to go an pick them up. Can you take a friend with you for moral support? You really do not have to be there very long just get your wages, check it is correct and then leave.

Also just need to ask although you are being paid cash is your employer deducting NI and tax as appropriate which should be detailed in your wage slip. Just hoping the employer is not trying to avoid their obligations to HMRC, which is illegal, by paying in cash.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
